Here are the print screens of how I have run this program first input 1 to add data. My input was 25, 80, 10, 5, 40. When I input 20 so there would be another number waiting to go in the Que. Then I entered 2 to remove data being 25, it removed 25 but did not replace the last number 20 I have executed the code to run the program. Nature and Human Free Essays
NATURE AND HUMAN Nature and human have always interacted throughout history, and the interaction of the two forces has evolved into a series of demands that people have put on nature to survive and develop. By contrast a minority of people have questioned the state of things and tried to figure out how humanity and nature can interact and develop together, and through their questioning they have come to define their idea as ecological cosmology. To begin with it is important to always start from the word itself, as each and every word has a meaning firstly by itself, and then it can acquire more depth through its use in a given context. We will write a custom essay sample on Nature and Human or any similar topic only for you Order Now Ecological cosmology comes from the Greek ââ¬Ëoikosââ¬â¢ and ââ¬Ëlogosââ¬â¢ , these two words define respectively a ââ¬Ëdwelling placeââ¬â¢ and a ââ¬Ëdiscourseââ¬â¢ or ââ¬Ëintelligible manifestationââ¬â¢. Ecological is something that deals with the environment in which one is, and on what can be said of that environment. Cosmology is instead related to ââ¬Ëkosmosââ¬â¢ or order and its intelligible manifestation, thus it can be said that there is an intelligible order or a logic to how things happen. Ecological cosmology can be seen as the order in which things happen in a given environment, and many versions of it exist, as many people with different backgrounds thought of defining the order of things depending on how themselves and their environment are shaped or are going to be shaped. ââ¬Å"The mythological process deals not only with natural objects, but with the creative potencies whose original product is consciousness itself. So it is here that our expl anation breaks through into objectivity and becomes wholly objective (Shelling, 207). Ecological cosmology has been seen as a mythological force, of creative and positive nature, which comes to define elements of nature, and the perceptiveness of them that people come to have. Talking about nature and ecological cosmology becomes as a result part of a discourse that does not limit itself on discussing how a myth can come to be seen in nature, but also on the fact that a myth becomes an object that people can see in nature and attribute a representation to it ââ¬â that can be viewed on how people see and define elements and objects within nature and how these objects happen to effect the relationship of mankind and nature. It is worth noting that no moral cause ever got very far that could not speak to religious conviction, drawing on the deeper sensibilities that guide public opinion even in our more secular era (Scully, pp. 12-13). â⬠Throughout the evolution of mankind, people have gone through different phases of ecological cosmology and at one point or another ââ¬â ecological cosmology happened to be tied in with Christian principles to be viewed as something more approachable as a way of being within nature, rather than the sole use of nature. For instance at one moment or the other nature has been perceived as an element of Godââ¬â¢s creations, in which people were to live abiding the rule of God, and using nature to further manââ¬â¢s position on earth. It is interesting to see in fact how the evolution of Christianity has put people first as representation of Godââ¬â¢s will on Earth and then after only at a second time, people have seen nature as something to needy of care. Interestingly enough nature has been for most part of humanityââ¬â¢s history the giver in a relationship ââ¬â care towards it instead has always come at a second time and out of the feeling of guilt rather than respect in a balanced environment, as solely humanity and people have seen balance in the goods generated by nature. It is also worth noting that in times when nature got attention it has been mostly the attention of an intellectual elite, and even in cultural movement such as romanticism ââ¬â attention to nature and its care have solely been regarded as a pastime, like for example when in the late 1800s the British high society started to find interest in gardening and even that has been solely related to an elite status. Intellectuals and elites have been able to move society forward within limits, but sadly those limits havenââ¬â¢t been altered too much or challenged even within those circles. Results have been many compared to a level of development that mankind has obtained out of the use of the many fruits of mother nature, it is interesting to point out that those phases of interest in nature have been mostly occurring after intense industrial developmentââ¬â¢s periods ââ¬â and because of that they have become the hadow after the light of successes of science and scientific research. Yet those phases have brought onto people the harsh reality and needs that follow advancements as those have a price, and results that not only affect increasing social conditions, but also that affect people with challenging bad health conditions and a state of realization to people that at any of hose junctions realize the damages in natureââ¬â¢s ecosystems. Furthermore it is interesting to realize how Renaissance, Enlightenment, Romanticism, Impressionism and Expressionism have challenged the status quo on a cultural level. All those cultural, artistic and ââ¬Ëelitistââ¬â¢ movements have allowed men to have a reality check with its contemporary community, and given they all developed a specific code in any given location in which they took place. They have started a constant discourse that has led people to oneââ¬â¢s realization nature and humanity need to re-balance one another ââ¬â and the balance to be found is not as easy to come by as it is expected even after constant technical development in both industrial and artisanal methods, the situation people are put in front of holds many challenges, and the biggest one of them involves a change in understanding and dealing with nature all together. erably failed. Claudius Speech - Hamlet free essay sample
How successful a statesman do you think he is? Examine Claudiusââ¬â¢s use of literary devices. Claudius, the former ruler, husband of his sister and brother of the recently perished king gives a speech at the beginning of Act I. II of Hamlet. Shakespeareââ¬â¢s use of literary devices allows the reader to comprehend the intentions behind Claudiusââ¬â¢s figurative language within his coronation speech. The opening scene in Hamlet portrays Denmark to currently be critically unstable and with militaristic chaos; however, in Claudiusââ¬â¢s speech he disposes that idea and conveys confidence in the stability of the nation. This chronological set up introduces the theme of appearance vs. reality as Claudius efforts to manipulate the kingdom into trusting that he has everything under control is carried mischievously yet successfully throughout his speech. Aware of the presence of the rightful king, young Hamlet, Claudius commences his speech with an ambiguous line that strikes the attention of Hamlet. Once he is aware of young Hamletââ¬â¢s attention, he continues to approach the courthouse. He seemingly shows a state of grief as he acknowledges his dead brother. ââ¬Å" My dear brotherââ¬â¢s deathâ⬠the use of alliteration makes us aware that Claudius has used that line several times before in order to show a sign of loss. He wants to appear that has suffered too from this death, he mentions that ââ¬Å" the memory be greenâ⬠this metaphor is placed to represent the idea that the memory is fresh and it has not been long since he perished, while also leaving a gruesome image of the old kings decomposing body. His first use of anti-thesis is then exposed in line 6, when he mentions ââ¬Å" the wisest sorrowsâ⬠in that line he is understanding those in grief but reminding them to think of themselves and the future of Denmark instead. After respectfully mentioning the death of Hamlet, and expressing his condolence to the kingdom he deceitfully moves on to the second important announcement: his wedding. Uneasy, Claudius is trying to go about his speech like a metaphorical obstacle course hoping there is no interference or opposition, while still being able to appear as confident. Efficaciously, he presents his marriage ââ¬Å" Therefore our sometime sister, now our queen, Thââ¬â¢ imperial jointress to this warlike state. â⬠Using the state of war as his alaby to the marriage of his brotherââ¬â¢s wife he is able to convince the courthouse that it is for the greater good and that his actions are a form of self-sacrifice for the nation. Continuing to justify his marriage as a cause and affect matrimony instead of acts of incest he mentions the ââ¬Å" mirth in funeral â⬠and ââ¬Å"dirge in marriageâ⬠. This literary device is important within his speech because it is his second antithesis, and a paradoxical clause. In this he is suggesting that he brought happiness to this sad event for the benefit of his people. ââ¬Å"In equal scale, weighing delight and doleâ⬠Claudius is trying to banish the aura of unsteadiness and declares balance. He makes up for the sorrow of his dead brother, by marrying his sister. Even though it is an obvious unusual event, Claudius reflects enough confidence as king and successfully manages avoid any opposition. A good strategy used was his the frequent use of ââ¬Å" weâ⬠. This indicated that the king was not only speaking for himself, but he was speaking for everyone like a good statesman would. In reality however, he was doing so to make everyone aware that it was of ââ¬Å" better wisdomsâ⬠to agree with him, and that those with worst wisdoms would not face good consequences. Claudius gently expresses his supreme control over Denmark and threatens anyone who dares oppose him in a non-aggressive way. He later finalizes the topic of marriage by dismissing the awkward topic of the table like a typical political ââ¬Å" For all, our thanksâ⬠As king, Claudius then addresses the issues with Norway. Assertively, he informs the kingdom of his plan of action. He repeats the line ââ¬Å" dear brotherââ¬â¢s deathâ⬠giving it little sentimental value. He then quickly states that Norway believes that Denmark is ââ¬Å" disjoint and out of frame. â⬠He assures the courthouse that the case is not so, and that they will successfully deal with Fortibras. The irony behind that is that Denmark is weak, regardless of what Claudius wants his people to believe. In order to seem like a man of action Claudius puts his future plan forward ââ¬Å" Thus much the business is we have here writ to Norway, uncle of young Fortibras. â⬠By doing that he convinces many that he is a potent king. Writing to Norway makes him seem like he is aware of what he is doing and that the nation does not need to worry. To complement his assurance he appoints two messengers to deliver a letter, this is significantly important because his objective is to prove to the court that he trusts his officials, ironically thought, he is purposely sending two people incase of a betrayal. Claudiusââ¬â¢s speech had a successful outcome. He was able to gently hide his inner insecurities and expose himself as a good statesman and valiant leader. His word usage was essential to the deliverance of his speech as it allowed him to get his awkward points across like unusual marriage to his sister. His use of antithesis did make the reader question the sincerity of his grief, but it did not seem to affect the opinion of the courthouse. He showed clear superiority over everyone within the courthouse, especially Hamlet, while making himself clear that he would not tolerate any disagreement of his coronation. Most importantly, he put an action plan forward and proved himself as king.
